I’ve put up my old demo reel in the portfolio section. Man, that thing’s kind of old even after a year. I’m still working on updating it to reflect the work I did on games like Borderlands 2 and Aliens: Colonial Marines. I’ve also done some more work on game vertical slices for my graduate studies, and none of that’s in there. What a shame. Anyway, maybe check it out?

Episode 4: A New Website
I’ve finally gotten on this bandwagon called “The Internet.” This site’s primarily designed to be a place to show off my work and hopefully somewhere I can post what I’m learning about sound design. I’m keen on this idea of posting tutorials for things like working with audio in the UDK.
There really aren’t a lot of places out there with good documentation from someone who’s been working in it. I recently found a post by someone relatively new to Unreal. It essentially read like the blind leading the blind. That’s not meant as a knock against the author. The UDK isn’t the most intuitive software and the amount of residual deprecated features and magic check boxes make for a steep learning curve. I’m no expert, but I’ve been working in Unreal as a sound designer for a little over three years now. I think I can at least gives some tips on how to get started. So that’s that. I should be posting some of the work I’ve been doing in the next week or two.
